I am still to this day having the occasional haunting nightmares...
From a week after moving in until the day they let me break my lease after bawling my eyes out to do so, I am STILL having nightmares about the Bed Bugs crawling all over my body. Those nasty bugs were feasting on me for months!!! Apparently they have this problem in MANY of their buildings. They came and did a "treatment" to kill them. But they were biting me and my son within days after treatment. I cant look at a piece of fuzz on my bed the same again. I would advise anyone who is looking for an affordable apartment to LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!! These apartments are NOT what they seem.
When you visit the grounds when you are looking to rent, they show you the Model apt. well there is a reason for this..

I would advise you to walk around there and ask the people that live there before you sign any lease. The management don't care about the renters just receiving a check every month.
The renovations are cheap, the management company is a piece of crap. The place was scum and still is.
I also had Roaches after a week of moving in.

If I was rich, I would buy it to tear it down just so no one would EVER have to go through what I went through living there.

PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE!!!

If you want to feel like you are living in Mexico, this is the place. If you want to listen to kids ALL hours of the day and late at night playing and screaming, come on in. If you don't like lock doors and happen to lose your key, don't worry its always open! If you don't have a radio or stereo, no worries, your neighbor will play his loud enough to be heard 7 blocks away. Management will take whoever gets to him first with complaints and problems. Gangs come and go, but they have so many relatives that they come more than go!!

Worst apartments EVER! I have never taken the time to write an apartment review and I've lived in at least 12 apartments over the past 12 years but this needs attention. I've written complaint letters to their corporate office and never received any follow-up. Marquette Management is collecting their money and doesn't care about its residents. They must encourage their employees to lie and steal, as that's what they've done to me since I moved here in November 2012. The Property Manager, Jim Addante, and "Customer Service Agent" Jairo are horrible examples of leadership and customer service for a company. There are on-going issues with pests, cleanliness, safety, sanitation, theft and they like to lie to their residents and make money from having cars towed. Stay away. Don't let the lower rent trick you. Pay the extra money and live someplace safe, that values you and respects you as a resident.

If you wanted to rent here, these are some negatives I wish I would have known before I moved in.,..Lert me start off with their cheap renovations. I have been living here for 4 months and they have already had to come and refinish my tub due to the peeling of the paint, The carpeting is really cheap. Ive had roaches in my apartment from the beginning. Visitor Parking sucks. You have to pay $5 for ONE overnight pass. You can only use it ONCE and since we live in the rear apartments, the closest visitor parking is a nice walk to the front of the complex. The apartment buzzers do not work and every time you have a visitor I have to walk down the long hallway to the opposite side of the building to let my visitor in. The locks on the outside keep breaking due to their quality choice of parts and the doors are left open for anyone to come in. SAFETY HAZARD! Ive had numerous solicitors at my door due to the broken locks and have called and complained. Also, the maintenance men drive around in golf carts all day tearing up the grass creating muddy tracks. It really makes the area look poor. If your one to like it cool in your place, be prepared to have your porch door cracked regularly. The heat is ALWAYS blasting in the winter months and you have NO control of turning it down, only making it hotter =O. When I moved in, I was told the fitness center would be ready within a month. 4 months later and it still hasn't been built.

Overall I have NOT been happy with my choice to rent here. Regardless of the price, It seems there is always something that goes wrong or needs to be fixed. They claim they are doing millions of dollars in renovations. I think 90% of it has been spent on making the Main office building look nice.

Positives: Its Cheap, nice big pool in the summer, Great surrounding area,Close to the mall, Office staff is nice & you can get half price movie tickets in the main office.

Well, guess you get what you pay for...
